The CIGA Design Blue Planet is the watch that put the brand on the world stage. In 2021 it won the Challenge Watch Prize at the Grand Prix d'Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG), the first time a Chinese brand took the award, and The New York Times called CIGA Design "the Chinese watch brand that beat the Swiss."
There are no conventional hands. The dial is a miniature Earth, its continents and oceans CNC micro-engraved in relief and in real proportion, and the whole planet turns to tell the time. CIGA's Asynchronous-Follow system, driven by the self-developed CD-04-E automatic caliber, lets you read hours and minutes from one single reference point on the outer rings.
A domed sapphire crystal magnifies the sculpted globe, and the polished, lug-free round case keeps the Earth in full focus. Choose 316L stainless steel or recycled titanium, in 43 mm or 46 mm, on a soft ocean-blue fluororubber strap with a hidden folding clasp.
