Blue Planet Ice Age is the feminine evolution of CIGA Design's 2021 GPHG Challenge Watch Prize winner, inspired by the beauty and mystery of the glaciers. The CNC-carved Earth dial is coated in sterling silver and glacial blue, like a world seen through frost and light.
The 43 mm case and the bracelet are glossy white ceramic: smooth against the skin, light and highly scratch-resistant. The lug-free round case and grooved ceramic crown give it a seamless, sculptural look, and the bracelet closes with a push-button butterfly clasp.
A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, and the automatic CD-04-E caliber drives CIGA's Asynchronous-Follow display: hours and minutes are read from a single reference point as the planet turns.
