Everest Summit is CIGA Design's tribute to humanity's first ascent of Everest in 1953. The dial is cut from genuine Everest bedrock gathered in the foothills, then laser-shaped and CNC-engraved so its natural grain and relief stay intact; every dial is unique.
At the centre sits a rare central tourbillon, the self-developed hand-wound caliber CD-05, turning at the heart of the watch. Four mainsprings give it a 120-hour power reserve, and the angular hands are inspired by Sir Edmund Hillary's ice axe. Swiss Super-LumiNova keeps the altitude mark and hands legible after dark.
The 45 mm case is Grade 5 titanium, light and strong, with fine notches in the bezel serving as the hour scale. A raised sapphire crystal protects the stone dial, and the caseback is engraved with Hillary's words.
